Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to book my own accommodation?

Yes. Participants are responsible for arranging and booking their own accommodation during Climate Week Zurich. You can see under the Stay page how to make your reservation safely and easily. Participants are free to choose any accommodation that suits their needs and budget. These exclusive hotel rates and rooms are only for registered participants and attendees of CWZ.

Is there a central venue for CWZ?

No, there is not one central location. CWZ takes place across multiple venues in Zurich. Please check each event’s confirmation email and agenda for the exact locations.

How do I get around Zurich during the week?

Zurich has an excellent public transport system (tram, bus, train). We recommend downloading the “Mobile CFF” app to ease your mobility. Most CWZ venues are accessible within 5–20 minutes using the ZVV network. Taxis, bicycles and shared mobility services are also available.

Is public transport included in my event ticket?

No, public transport tickets are not included. Participants must purchase their own tickets. We recommend the ZVV Day Pass or a ZVV Weekly Ticket if you attend multiple days. For more information on how to travel to CWZ, please visit our Travel page.

Will transport between event venues be organized by CWZ?

No. Participants are responsible for their own travel between venues. Most locations are easily reachable by public transport.

Zurich Airport (ZRH) is the closest and most convenient. Trains run every few minutes to Zurich city center (approx. 10 minutes).

Most public transport and CWZ venues are accessible. If you have specific needs, contact us so we can support you.
