60 days until Climate Week Zurich begins – the countdown is officially on!
Zurich, 1 March 2026 — From 4 to 9 May 2026, Zurich will host more than 250 events demonstrating how climate impact can be accelerated in everyday life and business. This marks the inaugural edition of the largest climate platform in mainland Europe. Climate Week Zurich 2026 will bring together thousands of people and organisations from across Switzerland and Europe for a week of events dedicated to shaping and scaling sustainability solutions.
The event programme has now been released: 40 events are already open for registration, with hundreds more to follow in the coming weeks. Covering themes from biodiversity and sustainable finance to innovation and climate justice, the CWZ programme is built to connect business, science, policy and civil society around real, measurable climate action.
As the only Climate Week in continental Europe, CWZ positions Zurich as a leading European hub for climate innovation. It complements impactful platforms such as New York Climate Week and London Climate Action Week – but with a distinct approach: business‑driven, collaborative and measurable.

Why Zurich
Zurich – and Switzerland more broadly – offers an ideal home for Europe’s largest climate week. Situated at the heart of the continent, the region is recognised for innovation, trust, stability and a culture that turns ideas into action. Few places combine academic excellence, corporate leadership and civic ambition as naturally as Switzerland. This makes Zurich the perfect launchpad for a movement designed to accelerate measurable, collaborative climate solutions across Europe.
