Visitors of all ages and backgrounds are welcome to discover solutions, meet innovators, join guided tours and workshops, and engage with the ideas shaping a more sustainable future – all while enjoying theme‑inspired music, talks, circular shops, repair stations and food & drinks.

A movement for everyone who wants to help shape the future – that’s #MoveTheDate in a nutshell. 

Their goal: to make smart ideas for the future visible and loud, and help them grow. MTD helps consumers find sustainable stores and local projects to shop at, and offers practical life hacks for reducing personal resource consumption.

The movement is called #MoveTheDate because we all want to move a date together: the Swiss and global Overshoot Day, which marks the date when humanity's demand for ecological resources exceeds what Earth can regenerate in that year.

Together, we can create a huge movement that allows us to fuel the development of a smart economy.
